I received my bachelors degrees from the University of Texas at Austin and worked in the petrochemical industry for nearly 5 years.  I completed a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas and began my professional counseling career in the Seattle area in early 2006.

I have attended workshops on Assessing and Treating Sexual Addiction and Compulsive Sexual Behavior, and have completed 30 hours of training required to treat perpetrators of domestic violence.  I am certified to administer the Prepare and Enrich instrument which is helpful for premarital and marriage counseling.

While I have had extensive training in Christian theology, I have worked with persons of many different faith backgrounds.  If it is your desire to not include your faith into our discussions, I will respect your desire to do so.
